Sometimes its just not possible to optimise an existing site without major changes to its content and structure. Building a new website from scratch might appear to be an easy option, but it's not always advisable.

Quite apart from time and cost issues, the way search engines work means it can take months for a new site to build good rankings in search results. Older sites have more weight than newer sites and the age of a website is hard to fake.

We prefer to start with your existing website and look first at how we can make the design work. If we can't we'll say so, even if it means telling you things you might not want to hear.

Sometimes we have to accept that a new website is the only alternative. No amount of optimisation can help if the design of your existing site is driving people away. The good news is we know how to design websites that do work.

Sadly not all designers understand the importance of optimised web design. Many are unknowingly using tools and techniques that actually make it harder for search engines to rank a site.

Even fewer designers understand marketing or the importance of a return on investment. Ultimately your site has to deliver paying customers - not just traffic. Simply looking good is not enough.
